On October 3, 2018, the U.S. Senate unanimously approved legislation that officially “recognizes” that the Holodomor is genocide.

Members of the Ukrainian American Community of Greater Hartford CT participated in the Holodomor Candle of Remembrance on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the Ukrainian National Home of Hartford to honor the victims of Holodomor on the 85th Anniversary of the Ukrainian Holodomor Famine Genocide.
